Innovation & technological development grants in Andalusia

What are these grants?

Non‑repayable subsidies supporting industrial research and experimental development projects aimed at strengthening technological capability and competitiveness.

Beneficiaries

Companies of any size with an operational workplace in Andalusia.

Eligible projects

Industrial research or experimental development aligned with the thematic axes (specialisation / transversal support) of the S4Andalucía Strategy (see Annex III when published).

Eligible costs

Project‑assigned personnel.
Instruments & equipment related to R&D activities.
External services: research, technical knowledge, patents, consultancy, etc.
Other operating expenses directly linked to execution.

Subcontracting: Up to 50% of total project cost.
Execution start: After submission (no retroactive expenses unless explicitly allowed).

Funding intensity

Depends on company size & activity type. Up to 80% under certain conditions, with a maximum €300,000 per project.

1. Industrial Research:

Small enterprise: 70%
Medium enterprise: 60%

2. Experimental Development:

Small enterprise: 45%
Medium enterprise: 35%

Enhanced intensities (up to 80%) apply when collaboration or dissemination criteria are met (as defined in the forthcoming call).

Advance payment: 50% pre‑financing at award resolution; remainder after justification.

When to apply?

Call publication pending. Early preparation increases approval probability (workplan clarity, budget structure, KPIs, risk mitigation).
